Air Mattress for camping, or for guests.

There is a lot of different kind of air mattresses for camping. These are mattresses come in different styles, thickness and colors. Not that it matter what color your air mattress is. The principle is the same regardless of the style. Most you blow up with a pump of some kind, car pump or electric pump or a foot pump. Blow the mattress up to the desired thickness. If you are camping with your air mattress then you should also use a 1” thick foam under the air mattress. This way if any thing sticks through the bottom of your ten you will not puncture your air mattress. Trust me I learned the hard way. An air mattress does not pop like a balloon, but your air mattress will deflate every night and cause for a very uncomfortable sleep.

A sleep by number air mattress allows you to deflate or inflate your mattress to the desired comfort. Great marketing idea, but from my experience this is not a good mattress.
