Increase Website Traffic With Linking

Linking from other sites is a very good way to increase website traffic. This will increase website traffic from people clicking on the links and going to your site, as well as the search engines giving you a higher rank because of the inbound links. The more links you have coming to your site the higher the search engines will place you because of those links. The more websites that link to you the more important the search engines think you are. This is why they will rank you higher in the search results, giving you increased website traffic. Most websites will only link to you if you link to them, this is called a reciprocal link. One way inbound links are better. You can get one way links by asking some companies that will end up with another benefit for them to link to you. Or you can pay for your one way links, or use the article marketing that I talked about in Increase Website Traffic With Article Marketing. Of course there is the strategy I talked about with blogs in Increase Website traffic with Blogs that will give you one way links to your site.

The best way to get links from other websites is to set up a links page yourself, then write an email to webmasters that are taking care of websites that are of a similar nature to your own. This is a long and boring strategy, but will work over time. Set a goal of 10 letters each week and within 3 months you will have gotten some good response. Best to do this on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. And you can expect to get about 10%, so in 3 months you will have about 12 good two way links. You can also expect to get some webmasters to write you back very nastily. Do not write them again, and simply take them off your list.
