Is Multi Level Marketing A Scam?

With all the scams that are always going on today you need to ask yourself, ‘is multi level marketing a scam?’ First there is a difference between multi level marketing and pyramid scams. For a company to be a real multi level marketing company that company has to be registered in the country, province or state that you are doing business in. If the company is not registered then you have to ask why are they not registered? I would think that any company that is worth anything and plans on growing over time would want to be registered. That just makes sense. So if the company is not registered then nothing else matters, because just being not registered is a crime in itself. And I would think the only reason they are not registered is because they could not get registered. Now does this mean the company is a scam? There is cases when a new country is opening up and this takes time, and some over eager distributors from another country have started to build their company larger by moving into that country.

So if the company you are looking at is legal then no multi level marketing is not a scam, but if the company is illegal then this is not really a multi level marketing company, but rather this is an illegal pyramid scam.
