There is many ways to make mattress comparisons. The best way is to buy a mattress and sleep on it for a month to know what feels best for you and your needs. But in this article I will try to give you some of my mattress comparisons when doing some research on buying a mattress.

When doing research and making mattress comparisons I had first tried a memory foam mattress. What I found out is that a memory foam mattress does not relieve painful pressure points, or help much with back pain in the morning. The reason a memory foam mattress does not relieve you of these problems is because there really is not that much support.

A mattress comparison to any mattress that I looked at only revealed that the selling point of a coil spring mattress was the price. But when looking at how much a coil spring mattress cost when compared with other mattresses and the life span of other mattresses then the coil spring mattress really wasn’t that great of a comparison.

The last mattress comparison I had made was a gel mattress. Now this particular gel mattress would support your back and neck and shoulder where needed. While at the same time relieving you of painful pressure points, which in turn gave you a better sleep because there was no longer any tossing and turning.
