Starting a welding business can be very lucrative and rewarding, but starting a welding business can also be very difficult if you do not know what to do. When starting your welding business you need to decide what your goals for starting a welding business are. Do you have the proper tickets to be a welder, if not that might be the first step. But if you have the money you can start a welding business, and hire a welder, and just go out and get the business. This is much riskier since you need enough business to keep your welder and yourself in the black.

When starting a welding business like starting any business you need to have all your tickets, registrations, and company information set up. From there you will want to decide on what kind of welding business you would like to start.

You can start a welding business where you contract to other welders. In this type of welding business you may not need as much capital to get started, since the company you contracting under may supply a lot more equipment.

Most welders start a welding business by purchasing a truck with a welder on it. From there you need to act like a businessman or woman and start to run your business and not let your business run you. Your goals should be to hire a welder and have him or her do the work while you do the office work and get the jobs. But until then you may have to work very long hours as you will be doing both. But if done properly you should be making somewhere around $4,000 per week in gross sales.
