Tip for Better Sleep

First you need to know why you do not sleep well at night before I can give you a tip for better sleep. There is a different remedy for every reason you do not sleep well. And if the reason you are not sleeping well is because you have a sleep disorder then the best tip for you is to see your doctor. Your doctor will have the knowledge to prescribe to you what is needed for a better sleep. This may not be medication that you need, so don’t think that by going to a doctor that is the first thing you are going to get. When I went to see my doctor I was told that my eating habits were what caused me to not sleep as well as I would like. So, that is the first step. Some of the tips I mention may help you, but see a doctor first. But if you do not have a sleeping disorder, then some of the following can help you.
Causes Of Sleep Problems
Do you do something before bed that is causing you to not sleep? Try a different tip for better sleep to see if this can solve your problem. For example would be the obvious, no coffee, pop, or chocolate an hour before bed. A friend of mine as to not have any cola after 2 PM. He finds if he has one after 2 he can not sleep at 11 that night. Now that might seem out of whack, but we are all different so you may want to try that. No cola or coffee after certain times of the day to see if this helps. You will need to experiment over a week or two to find what works. Do you smoke? You may need to adjust that as well. How about exercise? If you go for a hard workout before bed you will have trouble sleeping. This is not the case if you just start an exercise program, but once you are into the program the exercise will keep you more awake then it will wear you out.
Are you stressed out about something? Money? Family? Health? Other? If you are you will have trouble sleeping. Some people sleep more because of stress others sleep less. A simple relaxation program can be your best tip for a better sleep. Try counting down from 100-1 and see what happens, who knows might be just what you needed.
So, by trying the above different approaches and you do not fall asleep easier, or get a better sleep during the night, maybe you have another issue. Could be your mattress is no good. Do you toss and turn through the night? If so then you are not getting the proper sleep cycles required for a decent night’s sleep. There is a couple of reasons you may not be sleeping because of this. Your mattress could be giving you pain, or causing you to have a limb fall asleep. This will cause you to toss and turn through the night, taking you out of the much needed sleep cycles for you to perform properly during the day. These cycles are from alpha to Delta and back. And this happens about 5 times or so per night. But if you wake up too many times you will miss those cycles and that is a problem.
I never knew this before, but your Edmonton mattress can actually put you through a lot of pain. I am not talking about the kind of pain you need to take a pill for, I am just talking about enough pain for you to have to readjust yourself many time through the night. We are all different and some of us can sleep on a concrete floor and not move, while others of us can not sleep like a baby no matter what we try.
